Inglewood Golf Club

Inglewood is a country club in the Kenmore area only a few minutes off the main road. It's a members style club with amenities, with the golf course being the number 1 attraction. The course is taken care of and was in great condition for September play. They have beverage/snack carts going around while you play, a practice range, and chipping/putting greens. Parking here is easy since there is a ton, but it's a bit scattered. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The restaurant inside has great food, a decent sized menu at good prices with large portion sizes. If you're looking to join a country club, I'd add this one to your list of possibilities.

We held the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding in the Fireside Room at Inglewood Golf Club. The wait staff aimed to please and were very amiable. While the food was excellent, I did notice the filet mignon was not in the sauce specified. We didn't complain because the preparation was delicious and the meat was top notch and very tender, but it did strike me as odd for them to substitute with no explanation or forewarning. If planning an event at Inglewood, do not assume all the details from emails, texts, calls, or visits have been properly noted. I would recommend having them send you a summary shortly before the event. For us it was as though agreed upon timing, a sign to direct people, and some details about beverages and the appetizer table had never been discussed. Perhaps the hitch was in communication between wait staff and coordinator. Luckily it was minor stuff that could mostly be decided, moved, or fetched last minute, and the wait staff hustled to do just that. The coordinator, a very positive and cheerful guy, made up for these little snafus when helping correct an omission by the florist, something he didn't have to do. I think he was juggling our event with a simultaneous much larger event, so it was very nice of him to take time for that. The 4 course meals (beef with prawns, salmon, and chicken entree choices) were all delicious, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and quickly and accurately delivered to the guests. The tables were well set and attractive. I would definitely recommend Inglewood for special events.
